Is it worth buying?

I don't think that there's a better place in the world than Japan to spend your honeymoon. Let's have a look at ticket prices and see if a JR Pass would help you make savings. I assumed what you would use a 21 day JR Pass since you are spending such a nice amount of time in Japan.

For a total of ¥ 98,950 or ¥ 39,600 in savings as the 21 day JR Pass is ¥ 59,350. With the JR Pass you also just need one ticket for all your travel making it very easy to get around. Additionally the JR Pass is also good for local travel around on many local JR lines in Tokyo and Osaka adding even more to your savings.
