On Hyperdia, the seat fares are sometimes for reserved, and sometimes for unreserved seats, in addition to the train fare. Can we choose "unreserved" if the option is there?
For Kansai Wide Area Pass, can we take shinkansen (not nozomi)?

Hi there!
You can chose unreserved if the option is listed on Hyperdia. With the Wide Area Pass, you can only use the bullet train between Osaka and Okayama, and must use any non-reserved seating.
