Greetings. I plan to arrive Narita airport July 30, 2024 (next month ) and sightsee around Tokyo for a couple of days. From Tokyo I plan to go to Sapporo on August 1 or 2.
I would like to take the train from Tokyo-Sapporo. What JR Pass would you recommend based on these plans? Thank you for your assistance.

Hi there,
A JR-East/South Hokkaido Pass sounds like it would work best for you, in terms of regional passes. It will cover your itinerary at a lower cost compared to buying a regular JR Pass.
