I am traveling with my daughter. She has 14 days and I have 21 days. If I purchase the JR Pass and she does NOT, will we have any restrictions or problems when we travel together for our first 14 days?
Her itinerary: Tokyo>Nikko>Kyoto>Tokyo
My itinerary as above then adding Kyoto>Hiroshima>Tokyo.

Hi there,
If she doesn't purchase the pass, then you just need to make sure that when you make seat reservations using your JR Pass, it will be next to other available seats so that you're daughter can buy a ticket and reserve a seat next to you.
