Worth buying a jrpass?

Hello, I would really appreciate your help with following inquiry.
We will be traveling in Japan in April for 14 days. I have planned the following itinerary and was hoping to get some feedback as to whether it is feasible and worth purchasing the jrpass.
Arrive and departure to/from Narita airport
Day 1 Tokyo
Day 2 Tokyo-hakone (overnight)
Day3 hakone -Kyoto
Day 4-7 Kyoto ( day trip to Nara)
Day 8-11 Osaka with one overnight stay to mount koya
Day 12-14 Tokyo

Also from Osaka I know that I can’t use jrpass to koyasan but how much will it approximately cost to visit koyasan from Osaka without using jrpass?

Hi there,

As currently booked, I do not think that a JR Pass would help you make savings. A 7-day JR Pass would be worth it when used for a return Tokyo - Kyoto/14 within 7 days and a 14-day JR Pass would require more travel to be cost-efficient. So you're just in between both.

So we have now slightly changed our itinerary:

9-13/4 Tokyo (including day trip to nikko)
13-14/4 hakone
14-18/4 Kyoto (Day trip to Nara)
18-19/4 Osaka
19-20/4 mount koyasan
20-21/4 Osaka
21-22/4 Tokyo

I would really appreciate if you could help us decide whether it would be better to Purchase the jrpass or if you could please let us know What would be our best alternative?
