Hello, I´m planning a 13 days trip through japan next may 2019,

Since I´m arriving to NRT by 06:00 am, I´m thinking to go directly to hisroshima and then going back to tokyo as follows:

Day 1 direct trip NRT-Hiroshima I think we get there by noon, spending all the day and sleeping over.
Day 2 Spending part of the day in hiroshima and visit miyajima island, in the night (by 19:30 or 20:00) departure to Kobe, sleeping over in kobe.
Day 3 all the day in Kobe, in the night departure to osaka and sleeping over in osaka
Day 4 all day and sleeping over in osaka
Day 5 all day in osaka, by the night going to Nara and sleeping over in Nara
Day 6 all day in Nara, in the night going to kyoto and sleeping over
Day 7 all day and sleeping over in kyoto
Day 8 all day in kyoto, in the night going to tokyo and sleeping over
Day 9, 10, 11, and 12 to spend in tokyo and sourondings
Day 13 flight back

I wonder if this sounds good, I was thinking to buy 7 day JR pass and then use individual tickets in tokyo

Thanks

Hi there,

I agree with your assessment, although paying Kyoto - Tokyo out of pocket, this would be the most cost effective way of travel.

Makes sense to me as well to go right away to Hiroshima, you will be tired from flight but this way you can get most travel done right away.

Kind regards,
Daniel
