We will be 2 adults, 2 children travelling for 7 days in Japan is it work getting a rail pass for this itinerary:
2nd June - arrive in Osaka airport - travel to Kyoto
4th June - travel to Nara and back to Kyoto
5th June - travel from Kyoto to Tokyo

Hi there,
For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you. Alternatively, a Hokuriku Arch Pass may be cost-effective if you're willing to have a longer travel time between Kyoto and Tokyo via the Hokuriku Arch.
