My family and I are arriving in Osaka on 2 Dec 2023 and we are planning the following travel itinerary through Japan as per below dates.
2 Dec 2023
Arrive in Osaka
6 Dec 2023 : Travel from Osaka to Tokyo
9 Dec 2023 : Travel from Tokyo to Kyoto
13 Dec 2023 : Travel from Kyoto to Osaka
14 Dec 2023 : Depart Osaka
Would it make sense to get the 7 day JR pass or the 14 day JR pass in this case?

Hi there,
A 7-day JR Pass will be a good match (at current pricing) for the return trip Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo - Osaka. It would give you a few days to travel from Kyoto as well, so maybe a good excuse to add a cool day trip :)? I can highly recommend Hiroshima, Himeji or Hikone.
