Hi,
I plan to go to Japan on 29th Oct,13 - 7th Nov, 2013. my itinerary is as below,
1st day : Narita - Asakusa- Nikko
2nd day : Nikko - Asakusa
3rd day : Tokyo
4th day : Go to Mt Fuji (Kawaguchiko)
5th day : From Kawaguchiko to Hakone
6th day : Go to Takayama - Shirakawago - Takayama
7th day : Takayama - Kanasawa
8th day : Kanasawa - Kyoto
9th day : Kyoto - Osaka
10th day : Osaka - Kansai Airport - Go Back

Is my Itinerary too rush?
Where and When do I use JRpass? please advice.

Hi there!

I see that's only 2 more weeks before you set sail for Japan and you have a great plan as well! It looks like a busy itinerary but it looks doable. The only part that maybe feels too short is your visit to Takayama. I don't know how much time you will have but it feels like you may not have enough time to see the town itself, especially with a visit to Shirakawago planned in.

If you already have a JR Pass, I would recommend using it from day 2-9 to cover most of your train travel. However if you travel don't have one yet, I think that you will be fine buying normal tickets as well because your travel does not involve a lot of pricey train travel.
