Our trips to Hiroshema, Kyoto and Kobe will only be day trips. We are going to be based in Osaka for 8 days and then Shinjuku for 8 days.

Hi Pauline,

In terms of a railpass, normal tickets would cost less than a 14-day Japan Rail Pass on your trip. You can however make savings, using a Kansai - Hiroshima Area Pass when used to travel from Osaka - Hiroshima and back. This pass is one of the best value options out there and includes the Nozomi between Osaka and Hiroshima.
