Hello!

I am leaving to Japan on Monday July 17th. If I order the JR Pass today (Tuesday July 11th) will I receive it before I depart? What happens if it does not arrive before I depart?

Hi there,

It will depend on where you live, I recommend checking our shipping times on www.jrpass.com/delivery and select you country.

For many places we can deliver overnight, if it is a last minute order, drop us a line and we can prioritize the dispatch.

Thanks Daniel,

One more question. I want to purchase a 7 day pass but active it on July 23rd. When can I make reservations for the train travel we intend to do?

Our routes are the following:
Tokyo-Osaka
Osaka-Kyoto
Kyoto-Hakone
Hakone-Tokyo

I assume that it makes sense to purchase the JRPass for this amount travel - would you agree?
