1.) You can use www.hyperdia.com to plan your travels. They also have an app.

2.) Right now you can use the Shinkansen up to Aomori, as of March 2016 the Shinkansen will be extended to Hakodate, Hokkaido. This route is covered by the JR Pass.

02: To Hokkaido. If this is the case, please advise on train route to Hokkaido from Aomori. And if JR pass can be used?

1.) Yes it is and it is the only app in English to works well.

2.) You can use a ltd. express train from Aomori to Hakodate and from Hakodate an ltd. express train to Sapporo. The route takes about 6h and is covered by the JR Pass.
