I am planning a trip to Japan in September and would like to reserve two JR Passes.
I have read that the JR Pass must be purchased no more than three months before the date of use.
If I buy the passes at the beginning of June, will it still be possible to activate them in Japan in September?
I would appreciate any clarification regarding the validity period and activation rules.

Hi there,
We offer pass purchases up to 180 days ahead of time, if your date is more than 90 days ahead of time - then your pass should arrive around 80 days before your day of activation.
For your trip in September, this would totally work!
