Hi, need some advice. I had been booked on a 10D to Osaka, planning itinerary as such
Osaka - Hiroshima - Miyajima - Matsuyama - Kyoto - Nara - Osaka
Would a JR pass be recommended? If so, the regional pass or the 7 day JR pass?
Hope to get a pass so that I can easily adjust my travel plans without worry on cost. But the no of days that the JR passes are available for, does not seem to fit into the schedule.

The following parts are by far the most expensive of your trip.
Osaka - Hiroshima ¥ 10,230
Hiroshima - Matsuyama ¥ 10,970
Matsuyama - Kyoto ¥ 12,590
The 7 day JR Pass is 29,110yen. These 3 routes would already allow you to make savings and any additional travel would be a nice bonus as well. If you need more than 7 days to complete then above route, then I'd advise normal tickets.
