Kansai And West Part

Hi,

Good day.

I will travel with my family total 11 peoples on November 2018, following is my itinerary. I would like to know what JR pass suitable for my trips, please advice :-

8/2018 - Kansai International Airport -> Kyoto
9/11/2018 - Kyoto (Arashima)
10/11/2018 - Kyoto (Kiyomizu-Dera Temple)
11/11/2018- Kyoto (Nara)
12/11/2018 - Kyoto -> Kanazawa
13/11/2018 - Kanazawa -> Shirakawa -> Takayama ( Nohi Bus)
14/11/2018- Takayama -> Kamikochi->Toyama
15/11/2018 - Tayama (Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Road) -> Matsumoto
16/11/2018- Matsumoto -> Narai -> Nagoya -> Osaka
17/11/2018 - Osaka (Osaka Castle)
18/11/2018- Osaka (Yamazaki) -> Kansai International Airport

Hi there,

I must admit that it is hard to find a good pass to cover your itinerary. That's because there is not a regional pass that covers all your travel. At the same time, you don't do enough travel for a 7 day JR Pass (national) to be cost effective.

I checked if for any part of your itinerary a pass would be effective and I suggest using a Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Tourist Pass for traveling over the Alpine route and to Matsumoto. Then buy normal tickets for the other parts that would not be covered by this pass.
