I'm planning to go to Japan (specifically Tokyo surrounding area) next year (2017). Would you be able to tell me the safest time to enjoy Cherry Blossom ? Is March 30 - April 7 safe ? Looking forward to your reply.

Hi there,
End March - beginning is likely the best way time to go. This has been the period when we've seen the Cherry Blossom in the last couple of years.
I would also recommend getting a JR Pass, this way you are flexible on going around Japan. For instance there may already be Cherry Blossom in Kyoto but not yet in Tokyo.
