Narita Airport - Tokyo ¥ 3,020
Tokyo - Kyoto ¥ 13,600
Kyoto - Nara ¥ 710
Nara - Hiroshima ¥ 11,630

For a total of ¥ 28,960 the 7 day JR Pass is ¥ 29,110, so it's really close. Given that your itinerary takes 8 days (7 nights total) I would advise buying normal tickets.

Btw, Daniel. How does the counting of days work?

I'm arriving at Narita airport on 22nd. So if I activate the card on 22 November, that's day 1 right So 28 November will be day 7 right? Won't I still be able to use the pass on 28 Nov?

Hi Lucy,

Everyday is counted as a full day and a day expires at midnight. I guess that I miscounted your days as 22-28 would indeed be 7 days. This could make the JR Pass an interesting option, since it includes local travel as well.
