Hi,
we are a party of three, that plan to travel on the bullet train on Jan 2 nd 2013. We have already purchased green car Japan rail passes. Will we still need to make reservations to board the train?

Hi there,
If you travel Green class,than you have to make seat reservations beforehand. They can be made free of charge at any Ticket Office with your JR-Pass.
Since you travel in the New Year period it is very much recommended to make reservations even if you don't travel in green class.
