Hello, I will be arriving in Japan on December 20th. We will be staying in Nara for New Years Eve, arriving on the 31st and leaving on Jan 3rd. I cannot reserve train seats until we get to Japan, but I'm concerned that getting seats on trains on the 31st will be difficult. Could you let me know if it will be a problem?

Hi there,
you'll have plenty of days in advance to book seats from the 20th, so as long as you do it once you arrive in Japan you should be fine !
