Narita to Tokyo (Shinjuku) to Kyoto to Nagoya to Yokohama

Yes, a 7 day JR Pass would be cost effective if you can cover at least Tokyo - Kyoto - Nagoya - Yokohama with it. Of course anything extra just ads to that. Such as local travel within cities on JR lines or travel to/from the airport.

If I were traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto how long would it take via standard class versus green class?
