Can I buy individual single tickets instead of JR pass in advance? Can we reserve seat online with these advanced tickets?
Also I notice that the JR pass fare will be increased after September 30, 2023, are single tickets fare also increased?

Hi there,
Yes, you could do so. Please note that here at JR Pass we only sell rail passes, and can't directly help with local tickets.
JR Fares are set to be adjusted in the future as well.
