Hi, i'm planning to go to different places in Japan :.1. Nagoya to takayama
2. Takayama to shirakawago
3. Shirakawago back to Nagoya
4. Will fly from Nagoya to Hokkaido or is there a train?
5. Hokkaido to Tokyo via shinkansen
6. Tokyo to Mt Fuji

  • is it easier to go from Nagoya to Mt Fuji hakone and Kawaguchi ? Or from Tokyo?

Where can I use Jr pass within my travel??
Can I use Jr pass to go around the cities?

Hi there,

You can use the JR Pass for travel to Takayama, Nagoya, Hokkaido and back to Tokyo. It is quite a long trip from Nagoya to Hokkaido but you can use the Shinkansen all the way.

I recommend checking www.hyperdia.com to check travel times.

Hakone is much easier to access from either Tokyo or Nagoya. Kawaguchiko is a bit harder and best visited from Tokyo.
