Hi , I am travelling to Japan in late december and intend to buy a rail pass. Can I use it to travel from the airport to Toyko? Also where do I activate the pass and is it send via email when i purchase it?

While purchase in Japan is possible, we do suggest buying the Japan Rail Pass online as the price is up to 20% lower when doing so in advance.
