Hi,
This is our first trip to Japan (group of 5) We will fly into haneda airport and flying out kansai airport.We will be in Japan from 15/11-27/11/2014.Is it cost-effective to get a Jr pass based on our itinerary as follows
Tokyo(3days)
Hakone/Kamakura (2days)
Nagoya(1day)
Takayama/shirakawago(2days)
Kyoto (3days)
Osaka(1day)

Hi there,
I checked your route for the best options and would advise buying normal tickets for your trip. The difference is small but you are just below the price of a 7 day JR Pass.
