How long is the validation date after bought.

Hi,

I am plaaning to go to Japan in the end of June. If I buy the JR Pass now, will it be expired in the end of June? How long is the validation date of the pass between bought and activate?

Hello there,

A JR Pass can be exchanged up to 90 days after purchase. Buying it today (9th of May) would mean that you would have to activate it before 7th of Auguest.
