How do I get from Narita airport to hotel fukudaya in asakusa (Tokyo)? Will the JR pass get me close for a short walk or cab fair. I just might have problems with making the check in time. The flight gets in at 2000 and my check in is no later than 2300. Is there enough time to get there. Also I can't walk more than 1km with my backpack as I have had back surgery 6 months ago and strength and fitness is not that high yet.

Hi there!
I would recommend using THIS route for travel between Narita Airport and Asakusa. This route is mainly travelled using non JR lines and buying a normal ticket is the best way. You can then start using your JR Pass a day later the make the most of it.

Thanks for the great link there. If my flight gets in at 8pm how long should customs take and will i be able to still catch these routes. Im just unsure on all the times of trains and transport.
Customs should take around 40-60min maybe quicker if there are no queues. There are trains going to Tokyo until around 11 and there's also a night bus service so you should have no problem getting into town. You can use the link I send you to look up all trains possible :)
