I'm little confused on using the jrpass. I would like to purchase 1 week jrpass. Is it meant that I can use any train service in Japan or only limit to JR company train. Pls advice if place I can purchase a discount ticket for Disneyland n universal studio.

Hello there,
The JR Pass covers all JR lines nationwide, local JR buses and the ferry to Miyajima. Other transport run by companies other than JR is not included.
The JR Pass does cover travel to Disneyland and Universal studio but does not provide an addition discount on the entrance fee.
Hope this clears things up :)
Daniel
