I'm traveling to Japan in September — how early should I buy the JR Pass?
I’ll be in Japan for 10 days and plan to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. Will the JR Pass be worth it?

Hi there,
You could already do so now, but I'd advice at least 2-3 weeks before departure - so there's plenty of time for delivery.
The 7-day pass is worth considering, if you do Tokyo - Kyoto - Hiroshima - Osaka - Tokyo within the 7-day validity period.
