I am plannng for trip to explore Kyushu for 7 days , then from Beppu station , I plan to go Kyoto for 2 days then to Osaka for 1 day. Which Jr pass I should buy to cover for this trip? Does the Kyusu pass allow me to travel from Beppu to Kyoto? Thank you

Hi there,
An All Kyushu Regional Pass is definitely a good idea for the 7 days spent in Kyushu, but it won't let you travel to Kyoto from Beppo, and will only cover travel in the Kyushu Prefecture. My advice for this portion of the trip would be to purchase the rest of the tickets for your trip individually, as no regional passes span across both the Kyushu and Kansai/Sanyo region that would be worth the money for you.
