We like to go to Takayama from Tokyo for 3 days. Should we buy the JR pass for this trip or is it more economic to get a regional pass? Which regional pass will cover Tokyo to Takayama

Hi there,
The only pass that covers Tokyo - Takayama is the 7 day JR Pass.
However, it may still be a cost efficient option if you can cover travel to/from the airport as well and maybe some local travel in Tokyo.
