Hi ,
I am planning to visit Japan on December 16 to 24
need your advice , with my traveling as follow :
day 1. Arrive in Tokyo Haneda at 13:50 - travel to Takayama around 16:00
day 2. Takayama - shirawaka go - Osaka
day 3. Osaka
day 4. Osaka - Tokyo
day 5. Tokyo Lake kawaguchi - Tokyo
day 6 - 7 Tokyo
day 8 Tokyo - haneda airport - morning 7:00 AM

What is the recommended pass to purchase ?

Hi there,

I recommend using a 7 day Japan Rail Pass for travel from Day 1-7, it would help you make good savings compared to purchasing normal rail tickets.

Two points to keep in mind with the JR Pass. 1.) The bus to Shirakawa-go is not included and 2.) The same applies for the bus to Kawaguchiko.
