Hello, I'm coming out for rugby, first week bookended with Tokyo/Yokohama matches, so we're going to stay in Tokyo with day trip to Hakone and overnight to Nikko. Then 6 days across to Oita/Beppu and weekend there. Should I get 14 days railpass, or first week Tokyo pass plus 2 trips and then 7 day railpass?

Hi there,
Going to Oita and back from Tokyo will more than pay for a 14-day JR Pass. You can also use it for Shinkansen travel to Hakone, Nikko and local JR lines around Tokyo. So I think it is the best option. You'll also be able to use the JR Pass to Yokohama and to/from the airport.
