HI,

I have a planned japan trip with 7 days JR Pass for 10 days as following

Day1: From Narita Airport by N'EX to Tokyo
Day2-3: Going Hakone and stay at Hakone for 2 nights
Day4: Going to Kyoto and stay for 2 night
Day5: Going to Arashiyama stay for 1 night
Day6: Going to Nara and stay in Kyoto for 1 night
Day7-10: Going to Kamakura and Tokyo for shopping before flying back.

This itinerary can be adjusted.
Please advice how to use the best benefit for 7 days JR Pass and how to transport on another 3 days.

Do you have a pass that just travel in Tokyo surrounding and back to Narita airport for the flight back on day10.

Hi there,

Looking at your itinerary, I think a 7 day JR Pass would work best by using it from day 1-7. Travel from Narita Airport - Tokyo costs more than a return trip from Tokyo - Kamakura and therefore its simply more economic to start using it right away.

For the last couple of days, I would suggest getting an IC card.

How about N'EX from Tokyo to Narita for the flight on day10? Does IC card cover this N'EX trip?

Hi there,

The NEX needs a reservations beforehand, you can however pay for this using an IC card beforehand.
