From Tokyo Haneda to Hiroshima

The Nozomi train is not included in the JR Pass. Going from Tokyo station to Hiroshima using the JR Pass means using the slightly slower Hikari and Sakura Shinkansen. They travel the same route but have a couple more stops on the way with 1 likely transfer at Shin-Osaka.

Thank you for the fast reply. Do you have any idea how long that trip takes? We arrive at the airport around 3 pm. let 's say we have the shinkansen to Hiroshima around 5pm. what time will we arrive?

ps can we make an reservation given the fact that it is golden week.

and another question, can we make reservations in advance? Can we make the reservations from the Netherlands or do you need to hav the validates JR pass issued from a JR office in Japan?

And what do you recomend. Arriving in Tokyo, stay there for a few days (go to mt Fuji etc) and then graduately go to osaka, naoshima, hiroshima becouse of the golden week or do you reccomend to go directly to hiroshima and slowely move up to tokyo.
