7 or 14 days JR Pass?

Hello there,

I'd advise using a 7 day JR Pass for your itinerary and cover the trip Osak - Tokyo - Kyoto with it. This way you can use the JR Pass for the Shinkansen travel between the Kansai Area and Tokyo, in addition the JR can be used for travel within Tokyo on the JR Network.

Well our itinerary just changed, now is:

March 30th - Apr 04th Tokyo
Apr 05th - 10th Kyoto
Apr 11th - 12th Osaka
Apr 13th Tokyo

For this new itinerary I think it would be better to buy normal tickets as you'll spend a very nice amount of time in Kyoto/Osaka, this way a 7 day JR Pass would expire before you arrive back in Tokyo.
