Hello!
We are a couple planning about 20 days trip in October. Unsure of which pass should I buy.

1 Oct - 3 Oct: Tokio
3 Oct - 6 Oct : Osaka – Trip day to Kobe – Himeji / Hiroshima – Miyajima / Universal Studios
7 Oct – 11 Oct: Kioto – Trip Day to Nara / Takayama / Kanazawa
11 Oct - 19 Oct : Tokio – Trip Day to Diseny Tokio / Nikko / Monte fuji

Please kindly advise.

Hi Noelia,

I think using a 14 day Japan Rail Pass is the better option for your trip. You can use the JR Pass to travel to all these cities and will make good savings at the same time. Then buy normal tickets or use an IC card, like Suica, for the days in Tokyo that you are not using the pass.
