I plan to buy the 7 day JR Pass. I wish to travel
13th April Tokyo to Osaka
15th April Osaka to Kyoto
17th Kyoto to Naoshima
19th Naoshima to Tokyo
Will we be able to use the pass to get to these destinations and on relatively quick trains. I read somewhere on your reviews that people could only travel on the 6hour trains which would not be good as we only have a few days in the different destinations. Also are there any extra charges for using a credit card?

Hi there,
Where did you read that? With the JR Pass you can use the Shinkansen trains between Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka. You can't use the Nozomi service trains but you can use the Hikari Services, the only difference is that the Hikari makes a couple more stops on the route. The difference for instance between Tokyo - Kyoto between the Nozomi and Hikari is only 19 minutes.
We do not add any fees for orders placed on www.jrpass.com, the price you see is the price you pay. The only fee is for delivery charged once per order.
