Hello!

How much is a single ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto? Does it costs the same when you travel back from Kyoto to Tokyo? Is there a possibility to buy a returnticket?

Hi there,

A one way ticket Tokyo - Kyoto is ¥ 13,910, in general a return ticket will simply cost double the price. Sometimes (depending on the time of travel) a return ticket can be bought with a small discount, this is 5-10%.

Yes they are only be purchased at a JR station or JR travel center in Japan.
