Is the JR pass worth it if i'm just going to use it around tokyo?
i'm also going to hakone but we will be using my friend's car.

Hi there,

A JR Pass is best used for intercity travel. Tokyo and Hakone are relatively close and more travel would be needed to get good savings.

For travel to Hakone, consider a Hakone Free Pass.
