I lost my JR Pass

Unfortunately the reservation stubs you may hold will not be enough to get you through the ticket barriers for travel - this will require presentation of a Japan Rail Pass and you must carry it at all times for it to be valid.

As the Japan Rail Pass cannot be reissued, I strongly recommend you contact either the local police station or the JR lost property helpdesks. The Japanese system for managing lost property is incredibly efficient and 9 times out of 10 you will be reunited with your lost items.
