regarding JR pass option

Hi there,

I was wondering if you could help me regarding the JR pass, our plan:

• Arrive at Haneda and then stay in Tokyo for 3 nights
• Then Ito for 2 nights
• Maibara 5 nights from where we will go to Kyoto daily (are any of the 20 minute trains covered by JR pass from this station?)
• Last 2 days in Osaka, from where we might go to Himeji and Nara for day trips
• Leaving from Osaka (Kansai)

Could you advise if the JR pass would work for us? And if so, should we go for the 7 or 14 day option?
