Hi there,

Im most probably going to purchase a 14-day pass but I would like to know from the experts if its feasible. My itinerary looks like this:

30-10 : Arrive at Narita Airport and transferring to Otsuka station
31-10 : Tokyo
01-11 : Tokyo <--> Hakone
02-11 : Tokyo
03-11 : Tokyo <--> Nikko
04-11 : Tokyo --> Kyoto
05-11 : Kyoto
06-11 : Kyoto <--> Nara
07-11 : Kyoto --> Osaka
08-11 : Osaka --> Hiroshima
09-11 : Hiroshima
10-11 : Hiroshima <--> Miyajima
11-11 : Hiroshima --> Tokyo
12-11 : Tokyo --> Nara city
13-11 : Departure from Narita airport

Would u advise a 14 days pass or re-arrange the itinerary? Any other recommendations are appreciated. Thanks alot!

Hi Kien,

A 14 day JR Pass is certainly the way to go in this itinerary! Traveling Tokyo -Kyoto - Hiroshima - Tokyo almost pays for the 14 day JR Pass alone and you'll make great savings with all the additional travel. The route is pretty good but you could visit Osaka after Hiroshima, this way you could spread your travel time around a little more, as the trip Hiroshima - Tokyo is a pretty long trip. An alternative would be to make a stop at Nagoya as it is directly on the route between Hiroshima - Tokyo.

PS: I assume that nara city on 12-11 is Narita City?
