I will travel to Japan from the 25th of May to the 10th of June. We will have a 14 days normal Japan Rail Pass. We have some doubts regarding reserving seats.
1. Is it possible to reserve the seats of the trains in the trip at once when activation the JR Pass in the beginning?
2. What happens if, for any reason, the plan changes and a different train and/or time must be taken later after reserving the seats?
3. Will we get all the reserved seat tickets at the moment of reserving the seats? Otherwise, Is it true that we must collect them the day before 9:00 p.m. (21:00, Japan Standard Time) of the day before departure. Otherwise, cancellation fees will be applied and the reservation will be cancelled.
