My friend and I plan to visit Nagoya (1 day), Takayama (4 days) and then back to Tokyo (4 days). Is it worth to purchase 7 days JR Pass?

Hi there,
A JR Pass will not be worth it for this trip, the best advice I can give you is to buy normal tickets as you travel.
If you do want to save on transport, consider using a high way bus between your destinations.
