Is there public transport within Kyoto I can use with my JR pass? I zee something called the JR expressbus, but don’t know where it goes to.

Hi there,
You can use the local JR bus going to Takao-san, it departs in front of Kyoto station, as well as local JR lines that run to the south and west of the city. To places like Fushimi Inara, Uji, Ni-jou and Arashiyama.
