Hi,
I'm not sure if I need a JR pass... I'm having a hard time finding what trains and buses and metro lines.
I'm flying into Haneda airport and going to my hotel in Ginza.
Then I'll be going to Kusatsu (2 days) --> Kyoto & Osaka (3 days) --> Tokyo (2 Days) --> HND airport
Also want to know is JR pass work for bullet trains & Metro line?

Hi there,
The trip Kusatsu (2 days) --> Kyoto & Osaka (3 days) --> Tokyo (2 Days) alone will more than pay for a 7-day Japan Rail Pass and it will make sense to use one.
The JR Pass works on all bullet train lines in Japan but not the metro.
