Is it still advisable to get a Japan rail pass even if I m only in Japan for 9 days and travelling from Osaka to Kyoto and back again?Will be making day trips from Kyoto too.

Hi Shelly,
If you just travel between Osaka - Kyoto I would recommend buying normal tickets because both cities are very close.
If you make a return between Kyoto/Osaka and Tokyo than I would recommend a JR Pass.
