Hello! We are coming to Japan next week and already purchased the Green Pass JR pass, we are coming for two weeks and we are two adults and one child. We are arriving at NRT but we are having a private transfer to Hakone so we will not be using the JR pass the first days. So we will firstly be using our JR passes from Odawara to Kyoto.
I have below questions:
Can we book online somehow tickets for our trip before going to Odawara station? How will we be sure that we will find available tickets?
After this trip we will be using the JR pass but also it is "Golden Week" so we suppose it will be busy. Can we book our tickets prior, for example from Odawara station for all our future transfers?
After activating the JR pass can we book online tranfer and seat reservation? How is it safe to move so that we find availability for our tranfers?
