can we activate our planned 7 day pass in TAKAYAMA IN THE AM ON A SATURDAY(and then use if next 6 days here ,ending it in Narita the next Friday.?

Hi there,
The JR Pass can't be activated at Takayama station, so you have to do it beforehand elsewhere (e.g. at the airport). At the time of activation, you can select a later date and you could then start using it the day that you travel from Takayama.
