Hi all, need help on what will be the cheapest and most efficient way to travel, 16 day trip.
Itinerary: Tokyo (mar 6 - 8) -> Kyoto + day trip to Kobe (mar 9 - 10) -> Osaka + day trip to Nara -> (mar 11 - 14) -> Kanazawa (mar 15- 16) -> Nagano (mar 17- 18) -> Tokyo (mar 19 - 21)
My initial idea was:
1. Tokyo to Kyoto: single ticket Shinkansen ¥14,440
2. Kyoto to Kobe to Kyoto, Kyoto to Nara to Osaka: Kansai Wide Area Pass ¥12,000
3. Osaka to Kanazawa to Nagano: Hokuriku Arch Pass ¥24500
- Is there a cheaper alternative for this
- Is the Hokuriki Arch Pass even worth it considering it'll only be a regular train line from Osaka to Kanazawa? Should I purchase a direct shinkansen from Osaka to Kanazawa instead?
